The Latest Bollywood Gossip that is making news is about the remakes of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film in hindi, but now along with the film the trend of the remake of the songs of these South Indian languages has also started in Bollywood.
The famous Tamil song Apadi Pode from the film Ghiili, which stars Vijay and Trisha will be remade in Hindi. This song will be included in the film Lucky Unlucky produced by Sonu Sood. The song will be picturised on the lead actors Sonu Sood and Mallika Sherawat.
A close source says “Many Bollywood filmmakers wanted the song. However, it never worked out before. Sonu, who has done quite a few films down south wanted the song for his film. And this time, the producer readily agreed. The original composer Vidya Sagar will in fact compose the Hindi version as well. Mika and Sunidhi Chauhan will lend their voices for the song.”
Confirming the news Sonu Sood said “Mallika and I share a good on screen chemistry. After shooting the Munni song in the Tamil version Dabangg, we wanted to have a chartbuster in our film as well. That’s when Ajay and I decided to buy the rights of the Apdi Pode song. We are giving the song our best shot. This will surely be one song to watch out for next year. We are retaining some parts of the original song and mixing it with fresh new Hindi lyrics.”
After Ring Ringa from Arya 2, now its Apdi Pode…. Lets wait to get more from South Indian Movies.
