The Latest Bollywood Gossip of the year February 2012 is about the Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan who is being chosen as the brand ambassador for West Bengal, will be representing Bengal in India and well as overseas and will be attracting industrialist all over the world to invest in the state and help the development of the state.
Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee recently told the reports “Shahrukh Khan has become brand ambassador of West Bengal.”
Shahrukh Khan also wrote to the CM saying “West Bengal is my second home.”
A source said “A positive and vibrant image of the state will be created through a series of campaigns and advertisements fronted by the 46-year-old actor, by focusing on the uniqueness and rich legacy of the state, services of the Don star will be used to build ‘Brand Bengal’ in various sectors including industry, sports, tourism, art and culture.”
Rhitobrata Bhattacharya CM’s press advisor said “We are discussing things at a preliminary level at present. We will soon come up with a detailed plan.”
The Bollywood Actor Shahrukh Khan is already the owner of IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders from 2008. He also the brand ambassador to a number of Kolkata-based companies like Emami and Concast Group.
